Weston MP welcomes sharp drop in local unemployment

Local MP John Penrose is celebrating today as figures published this week show that unemployment has come down significantly in Weston and the villages. The number of young people claiming Jobseekers’ Allowance fell by over a quarter - 27% - in the last year, and the number of long-term unemployed dropped by almost a third – 30% - as well.
