As local children are starting a new academic year, Weston MP John Penrose has hailed the increase in the Pupil Premium from £488 to £600 for every child who has been on Free School Meals in the last six years. This means that more than three and a half thousand schoolchildren on Free School Meals in and around Weston will benefit from an extra £2.1 million investment in their education.
